The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking workers for hands-on roadway maintenance, emergency operations, and equipment handling. You will operate light to heavy highway equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with traffic control in work zones.
Candidates must have the ability to work in a team, read instructions, and obtain a CDL with DOT medical card within 11 months. Safety shoes are required and valid documentation will be checked.
