JOB TITLE
Warehouse Associate
SUMMARYReport to the Warehouse Manager. A Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to orders in the system. Duties include loading and unloading trucks and sea containers, organizing incoming stock, and ensuring all orders are shipped in full.

HOURS:
6am-2:30pm
High School or equivalent
- Familiar with Forklift Operation
- Basic computer skills
- Some experience in a similar role
- Able to lift 50LB.
- Able to work in freezers
- Team player
- Solid organizational and time-management skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills

- Receive and track shipments
- Flexible work schedule- possible weekend(s)
- Load merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
- Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
- Track and document exact shipment quantity, conditions, arrival, and departure times. Report any missing or extra merchandise
- Prepare all orders for shipment/Transfers
- Record and manage all Hold, Aged, Damaged, etc. merchandise items
- Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
Position requires continual working in work areas at a temperature of+45-60ºF, as well as ability to work in coolers with a temperature equal to +25-40ºF and freezers with a temperature as low as
-10ºF. Position requires use or being in the proximity of knives, broilers, grills, ovens, searing and other food preparation equipment, and packaging equipment that requires following safety guidelines to avoid bums or injury. Must be able to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. Uniform and hygiene must be neat and clean.
