Special Education Teacher | Extended School Year (ESY) | Algonquin, IL | Up to $65/hour
Ampersand Therapy is hiring dedicated Special Education Teachers for the Extended School Year (ESY) in the Algonquin area.

Position DetailsSchedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:45 am - 12:15 pm
Start Date: May 27th to June 25th
Location: Huntley School District 158
Role Type: Special Education Teacher
Role Details: 5 Positions Available:
One opening at Early Childhood Center, one opening at Adult Transition Center, and three openings with K-12th grade students
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic support to students with IEPs
- Develop and implement instructional strategies tailored to individual learning goals
- Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and school-wide initiatives
- Valid Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for inclusive education and student-centered practices
