An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to work with elementary students in a welcoming school environment near Algonquin, IL. This contract-based role offers flexibility within school hours, focusing on an elementary-only caseload. Candidates will serve a maximum of 35-40 students in a single location, with supervision available for Clinical Fellows (CFY). The positions immediate start means you could begin supporting students within just 1-2 weeks of receiving an offer.

To ensure success supporting the dual enrollment program, fluency in Spanish is essential. The ideal candidate exudes enthusiasm for bilingual education, enjoys working with elementary-aged children, and seeks a collaborative setting with robust support and resources.

Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Illinois SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required)
  • Ability to work effectively in a dual language educational setting
  • CCC-SLP or CFY status new graduates welcome (supervision provided)
  • Availability to begin promptly and commit to a full school-year contract
Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver speech and language therapy to bilingual, Spanish-speaking elementary students
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with school teams and families to foster student progress and engagement
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in scheduled orientation and receive ongoing onsite support
