Position OverviewWe seek a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who is passionate about pediatrics. The ideal candidate must have experience in phlebotomy and a strong understanding of, or willingness to learn, the childhood immunization schedule per guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly desirable to serve our diverse patient community effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and engage with young patients and their families to create a warm and friendly environment.
- Assist with patient check-in, appointment scheduling, and maintaining accurate electronic health records.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure necessary supplies are stocked.
- Record accurate medical histories, vitals, and symptoms in patient charts.
- Perform pediatric phlebotomy and administer immunizations following AAP and CDC guidelines.
- Support patient flow by coordinating appointments and managing wait times.
- Assist pediatricians during examinations and procedures.
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) is required.
- Experience in phlebotomy
- Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, the pediatric immunization schedule as per AAP and CDC recommendations.
- Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred

- Competitive pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
