Senior Supply Chain & Procurement Leadership Opportunity
I'm partnering with a global manufacturing organization to identify a Head of Purchasing & Logistics, North America to lead procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and logistics operations across a large multi-country footprint.
This role is onsite in the Algonquin, Illinois area, and is offering relocation assistance.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree required;
Master's Degree preferred - 10-15 years of overall supply chain, procurement, and sourcing experience
- 7+ years of purchasing leadership experience in a senior-level role
- Experience managing large procurement spend programs ($500M+)
- Multi-country leadership experience
- Strong supplier negotiation and strategic sourcing expertise
- Proven ability to influence, develop, challenge, and motivate teams
- Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and driving business decisions through data
- SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
Industry Experience Required
This opportunity requires experience within chemical manufacturing.
Ideal backgrounds include:

- Paints & Coatings
- Specialty Chemicals
Related experience from oil & gas environments may also be considered.

Work Schedule:
Onsite with up to 30% travel
Compensation: $175-200k base
