Procurement Lead

Divergent Alliance is seeking a Procurement Lead to manage sourcing and purchasing of electrical equipment and materials from our Algonquin, Illinois office.

This role manages supplier relationships, purchasing and delivery coordination for medium-voltage equipment and project materials.

Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000

• Source, quote and negotiate electrical equipment and materials including switch gear, transformers, breakers, cable and terminations
• Manage supplier and manufacturer relationships and negotiate pricing and terms
• Issue and manage purchase orders, expediting and delivery coordination
• Track lead times, pricing trends and market availability and report to project teams
• Coordinate with engineering on equipment specifications and technical requirements
• Support inventory planning and stocking decisions
• Coordinate freight, logistics and receiving with warehouse personnel
• Resolve supplier quality, delivery and invoicing issues
  
  Support project teams with material cost and schedule information

• Three or more years of procurement, purchasing or supply chain experience
• Electrical equipment, construction materials or industrial products background preferred
• Experience with long-lead equipment and delivery coordination preferred
• Strong negotiation, organization and vendor management skills
• Proficiency with ERP or purchasing systems
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
