Gear Up for Your Role:
As a Crew Chief you will be part of the management team, guiding the crew, maintaining smooth operations, and boosting sales. You will partner with the General Manager and receive training for multiple positions, with opportunities for career advancement.
How You Will Drive Success:
- Work directly with the General Manager to ensure consistent revenue growth and guest satisfaction.
- Coach and execute excellent customer service and create exceptional guest experiences.
- Build team engagement and efficiency by setting a positive example.
- Develop teammates using internal training and ongoing guidance.
- Follow quality control measures and processes consistently.
- Handle additional duties and projects such as inventory, cash handling, guest concerns, and critical initiatives with the District Manager.
- Assist with budgeting, sales forecasts, financial performance, and expense controls.
- Ensure the service center is clean, safe, and presentable per the Guide to Excellence.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to automotive technicians and CSAs.
- Perform opening and closing duties when the GM is off.
- Lead daily huddles and store meetings, setting direction for business goals.
- Manage inventory and order products to meet business needs.
- Hold others accountable to rules and regulations for a safe and productive environment.
- Assist guests with questions and needs via in-person, electronic, or telephone means.
Under the Hood –
What You’ll Need:
- 1 to 3 years of retail management experience; professional automotive experience not required.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership ability to inspire and motivate diverse groups.
- Sound business sense and comprehensive retail industry understanding.
- Able to analyze financial objectives and recommend strategies to increase sales and service results.
- Positive, helpful attitude and professional conduct and appearance.
- Energetic in a fast‑paced, flexible, high‑performance retail environment.
- Guest‑first mindset.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
- Physical capability to stand on hard surfaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in hot/cold temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes.
- Must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship.
