Customer Service Representative

Location: 2 N Main St, Algonquin, Illinois 60102

Shift Availability: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Overnights + Weekends)

Employment Type: Part time

Customer Service Representative assisting customers in a fast‑paced store environment. Duties include greeting customers, handling cash registers, product suggestions, and supporting store appearance and cleanliness.

• Greet customers and provide friendly service.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions.
• Offer product recommendations and promote store items.
• Assist with the food program and related tasks.
• Maintain store appearance inside and outside the store.
• Ensure regular and predictable onsite attendance.
• Collaborate with team to accomplish daily goals.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or customer service experience.
• Experience as a sales associate or cashier preferred.
• Communication skills and friendly conversation.
• Ability to work at a quick pace while maintaining a fun atmosphere.
• Team player with problem‑solving and suggestion skills.
• Motivation to advance in career; willingness to learn.

• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
• Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes per shift.
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
• Push/pull with arms up to 20 pounds.
• Bend at waist with some twisting up to 1 hour per shift.
• Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects, including eye‑hand coordination and occasional ladder use.

• Hiring range: $15.00 to $15.25 per hour.
