Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Foreman

Duties- Diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC systems, residential and light commercial; with boiler knowledge.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to troubleshoot issues accurately.
- Lead installation of HVAC equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements and preventative inspections to maximize system efficiency.
- Maintain detailed service records and document all repairs performed for accountability and future reference accurately and promptly.
- Operate a service vehicle safely when transporting equipment or parts between sites and calls.
- Provide honest recommendations to customers without pressure.
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle with stocked inventory.
- Participate in a scheduled on‑call rotation for emergency service.
- Proven 8+ years of experience as an HVAC service technician.
- Associates degree in HVAC or equivalent education level.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems (residential and light commercial) and electrical. Plus boiler experience. Refrigeration experience is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans accurately or follow instructions from tech support.
- EPA certified universal.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of HVAC standards and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills combined with proactive communication abilities to coordinate effectively on‑site and with customers.
- 1.5x Overtime pay
