This 39‑week contract school social worker position in Algonquin, Illinois offers a competitive hourly rate up to $50 based on experience. The role supports students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs while collaborating with school staff and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program or equivalent degree required for school social work licensure/placement.
- Illinois school social worker certification/licensure or eligibility to obtain.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience working with children/adolescents in a school or related setting.
- Experience supporting students and families with social/emotional and behavioral needs.
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and families.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Professionalism and confidentiality with student information.
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment and support student success.
- Background check requirements may apply per district policy.
- Availability for a 37.5‑hour per week schedule.
- Premium pay 13% above market average with weekly direct deposit and upcoming next‑day pay features.
