Purpose

The Overnight Receiving Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing the warehouse operations of each retail store, supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, and managing the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
  • 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, team‑building, delegating, and follow‑up skills
  • Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Competent in basic mathematical calculations
  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows‑based systems
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet established deadlines
  • Availability to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons
Essential Functions
  • Daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping and receiving products
  • Direct day‑to‑day activities of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control
  • Oversee the storage of buy transactions, receiving errors, and staging of products
  • Maintain warehouse equipment, provide preventive maintenance programs, and communicate repairs to CEM and/or Operations Manager
  • Ensure warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment to perform distribution functions
  • Lead warehouse safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and local regulations
  • Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures
  • Manage the progressive disciplinary process, including counseling, oral and written warnings, to sustain a productive labor climate
  • Handle general employee inquiries and resolve problems
  • Coordinate with other departments for efficient warehouse operations
  • Complete activity reports for management and monitor paperwork flow from receiving to inventory control specialist
  • Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports
  • Execute the Storage Buy Audit COP, ensuring products are staged for counting and inspection
  • Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
  • Oversee rotation of inventories within the warehouse
  • Perform other related duties as directed by management
Working Conditions

Frequent exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles; moderate to noisy noise levels.

Physical/Sensory Requirements
  • Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally, and 20–30 pounds of force frequently, or constant force up to 20 pounds to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Use of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects
Store Hours

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pickup Hours

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
