Accountant - Part Time

A Part-Time Staff Accountant will support our accounting operations by assisting in financial reporting, reconciliations, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This position offers a flexible schedule of 24-30 hours per week, making it ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance while applying their expertise in accounting.

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Execute monthly account reconciliations for general ledger accounts, including cash, assets, and liabilities.
• Assist in preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
• Support payroll processing and tax filings, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
• Assist with year-end audits by gathering documentation and providing support to auditors.
• Monitor budgets, perform variance analysis, and provide accurate financial data to management.

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, demonstrating expertise in financial operations.
• Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong skills in performing bank reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accounts.
• Experience preparing journal entries and conducting month-end close procedures.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Net Suite, Oracle, Quick Books, or SAP.
• Ability to generate and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance regulations.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
