Process Engineer - MOCVD Qualifications
Hie Fo Corporation is looking for an Process Engineer to join our company in our Alhambra office.
- 5+ years of development and manufacturing experience in III/V semiconductor MOCVD technology
- Experience in growth of In Ga As P qua ternary materials, including tuning of MQW structures
- Bachelor's or better in Engineering or related field
- Broad knowledge of and experience with materials characterization techniques including AES, SIMS, EDX, PL, ECV, XRD, SEM, TEM, AFM, I‑V and C‑V measurements
- Operation and maintenance of the MOCVD reactors and assessment tools, directly or through Operators and Technicians
- Ensure the quality of materials produced by the MOCVD tools meets the required specifications, while maintaining safe and efficient operation
- Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot production MOCVD wafer processes for manufacturing semiconductor lasers
- Identify and lead opportunities for continuous yield, throughput, and cycle‑time improvements
- Establish control of manufacturing processes through SPC
- Create documentation of processes and procedures for ISO certification
- Write technical and scientific reports and present results in internal and external forums
- Complete maintenance activities on reactors, including replacement of pumps, bubbler baths, mass flow controllers, pressure controllers, and precursor bubblers
