We are partnering with our client for a highly experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in retail commercial real estate and advanced proficiency in Yardi software. As a key member of our finance team, you will oversee financial operations, ensure accuracy, and contribute to the financial success of our retail property portfolio. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Expected starting base salary $50 to $60 per year.

Responsibilities:

Leverage advanced Yardi software skills for comprehensive property accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
Create and post journal entries, ensuring accurate recording of expenses, receipts, owner distributions, funding requests, and other transactions.
Assist the Controller with data entry, rent collections, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting using Yardi.
Manage property tax payments.
Address accounting issues and fulfill report requests from management teams and clients, including Profit and Loss statements.
Support Property Accountants in resolving open accounting issues and identifying potential conflicts.
Assist in coordinating tax reporting and compliance for commercial properties.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in retail commercial real estate accounting, with a focus on Yardi software.
Advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Proven experience in consolidating financial statements.
Strong knowledge of real estate financial reporting and lease accounting.
Exposure to financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
