Every service is delivered at no cost, regardless of insurance status.
Role OverviewAs Oncology Navigator, you will guide seniors with new or active cancer diagnoses through the complex cancer care continuum — coordinating appointments, explaining options, connecting to financial aid, and supporting families emotionally. You will work alongside oncology teams to remove barriers to care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct oncology intake assessments for seniors newly diagnosed or in active treatment
- Coordinate appointments across oncology, radiation, surgery, and supportive care
- Connect patients to financial assistance, transportation, meal support, and lodging programs
- Provide emotional support and educate on treatment options, side effects, and clinical trials
- Track outcomes including treatment adherence, satisfaction, and barrier resolution
- Partner with City of Hope, USC Norris, Cedars-Sinai, and community oncology practices
- RN license (CA) or MSW preferred
- AONN+ Oncology Navigator certification or willingness to obtain
- 2+ years oncology, social work, or care coordination experience
- Strong empathy and ability to navigate complex emotional conversations
- Comfort with end-of-life and palliative care discussions
- Competitive salary ($70,000–$95,000)
