Photo Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient photo service and information.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist in other store functions as requested (e.g., assisting customers at register, maintaining other departments).
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Serve as a trainer for customer service best practices; demonstrate interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Provide fast, friendly, efficient service in the photo area including digital passport photo and promotional photo sales.
• Recommend items for sale, including trade‑ups and companion items.
• Register purchases on the assigned cash register; process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintain clean, well‑merchandised counters and shelves, take inventory, and keep records.
• Check in, price, and merchandize merchandise as required.
• Implement company asset‑protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Operate store systems and equipment.
• Assume web pickup responsibilities.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure store condition and appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.

Salary Range: $17.87 - $20 / Hourly
