Overview
Under direct supervision operates various types of office equipment, assists public, performs other related duties as required for operation of the Municipal Court
Qualifications- Education/Certification:
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid Texas Driver License
- Municipal Court Clerk certification (within 1 year of hire)
- Experience:
- Two (2) years of recent work that includes extensive data entry, typing, filing, and extensive public contact, in person and by telephone
- Knowledge of and experience with basic accounting skills
Maintain positive relationships with members of the community, city staff, city administration, contractors, and other government agencies.

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting, standing
Motion: Repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching
Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)
Environment: Occasional travel; including occasional statewide travel;
Moderate noise, temperature neutral, indoor lighting
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
