AVIR at Alice is seeking compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We are hiring for both Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who enjoys working directly with residents and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to help individuals achieve their highest level of functional independence.

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Implement individualized treatment plans based on residents' needs and goals.

• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, balance activities, transfers, and functional activities.

• Monitor residents' progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Document treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility, and safety techniques.

• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech‑Language Pathologists, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

• Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.

• Experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or a similar setting is preferred.
