The Certified Nurse Aide will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with resident assessments and care plans.

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, caring for hair and nails, and moving residents as needed.
• Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by the Charge Nurse.
• Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries.
• Contribute knowledge of residents’ conditions and needs to resident care plans.
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents and Charge Nurse.

• Educational/Training Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Licensing Requirements: Must hold a valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.
• Experience Requirements: Experience in a long‑term care facility is preferred;
  Must be at least 16 years of age.

Physical demands include:

• Lifting up to 50+ lbs and carrying up to 50+ lbs.
• Pushing or pulling up to 50+ lbs.
• Sliding or transferring up to 50+ lbs.
• Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, driving, balancing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, hearing, seeing, turning, twisting and leaning.
