Role

Description:

Ferrovial Construction is looking for a Senior Technical Occupational Risk Prevention Officer to join our team in Galicia.

The selected person will be responsible for driving, implementing, and supervising prevention policies in different projects, ensuring compliance with current regulations and promoting a strong safety culture.

What Will Be Your Functions?
  • Prepare and update the Safety and Health Plans of the projects.
  • Perform periodic inspections on site to verify compliance with preventive and corrective measures.
  • Investigate work accidents and incidents, analyzing their causes and proposing preventive measures.
  • Provide training and information to workers about occupational risks.
  • Coordinate safety and health activities with site teams and subcontractors.
  • Advise the site management on prevention matters.
  • Manage all documentation related to safety and health.
  • Participate in safety and health coordination meetings.
What Are We Looking For?
  • University degree in Engineering, Architecture, or similar.
  • Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention with the three specialties:
    • Work Safety
    • Industrial Hygiene
    • Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in construction.
  • Solid knowledge of current occupational risk prevention regulations.
  • Driver's license.
  • Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
  • Desirable:
    English level.
