Position Summary:
We are looking for a Building Manager for FERROVIAL CONSTRUCCIÓN, S.A. who will supervise and coordinate the building works, ensuring the correct execution of the projects on time, cost, and quality. They will be responsible for managing the construction team and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily activities on the building site.
- Coordinate and direct the work team under their charge, assigning tasks and monitoring their performance.
- Control the execution of the works according to plans, technical specifications, and construction program.
- Ensure compliance with safety and occupational health regulations on the site.
- Manage and control the material resources, machinery, and tools necessary for the project's development.
- Monitor the budget and execution deadlines, reporting any deviations.
- Collaborate with the Site Manager in resolving technical and operational incidents.
- Periodically report on the progress of the work and the status of the tasks.
- Ensure the quality of finishes and the correct execution of each phase of the project.
- Interpret plans and technical specifications for the correct execution of the work.
Qualifications:
- Higher Vocational Education in Building and Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Building Manager in construction projects, preferably in residential or tertiary building.
- Extensive knowledge of construction techniques, materials, measurements, and budgets.
- Leadership capacity, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and application of occupational safety and health regulations.
- Ability to interpret plans and technical documents.
- Availability to work in different project locations.
- Driver's license
B. - Knowledge of project management software (MS Project, Presto, etc.) is valued.
