About your Role:
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-24 who have serious emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. With the support and guidance of the Behavioral Consultant, you will aid in improving independent, age-appropriate functioning to levels which require less or no service intervention. You will travel to the clients’ home/school/service location daily, follow the prescribed treatment plan, and provide behavioral and treatment interventions and consequences.
Set boundaries with clients and their families to prevent dependency on services while supporting parents and adult professionals. Educate and train parents/young adults to utilize these skills, provide positive reinforcement, and deliver culturally aware and competent service provision.
- Certified as BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT.
- 2 years’ prior Behavior Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute.
- High School diploma or equivalent and completed the 40hr RBT Training (RBT Task List) Certification, or ability to complete this within the first 10 days of hire (you will be paid for this training time).
- Minimum of 2 years experience providing Behavioral Health services.
- Competitive pay rate of $22.50/hr!
