PositionLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Responsibilities- Administer/dispense medication under direction of physician
- Ensure the treatment plan of the physician or Medical Director is being followed
- Give and interpret Mantoux testing
- Complete blood draws
- Assist in training staff in medical and health and safety matters and assist in properly maintaining medical equipment
- Provide training for staff development specific to health care needs (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Blood Pressure)
- Educate clients about methadone maintenance and detoxification, side effects, lab results, and all medical matters
- Educate pregnant patients about prenatal care and assist primary counselor in coordinating outside services as needed
- Other duties as needed
- Licensed Practical Nurse in the state seeking employment
- Comfortable working independently with the population when needed
- Compliance with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) program protocols
