Quality Control Technician
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality specifications and customer requirements. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn Select rode's products, processes, and quality standards. Fluency in Spanish is preferred and would be valuable in supporting communication across our manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Verify products meet established specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Conduct visual inspections and dimensional measurements using appropriate gauges, measuring devices, and inspection equipment.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain required quality documentation.
- Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming materials or products.
- Work directly with production employees and supervisors to address quality concerns and prevent recurring issues.
- Assist with investigating quality problems and determining potential root causes.
- Verify product labeling, packaging, identification, and traceability requirements.
- Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to product quality, manufacturing processes, and waste reduction.
- Maintain an organized inspection area and properly care for quality and measurement equipment.
- Assist with additional quality-related activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or quality inspection preferred.
- Previous quality control or inspection experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, specifications, and basic technical documentation.
- Comfortable using basic measuring and inspection equipment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter and maintain quality records.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize inconsistencies or defects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with production employees, supervisors, and management.
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a manufacturing team.
- Spanish fluency preferred.
