Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Pumps & Rotating Equipment
Northeast US (Remote) | $115,000 base + Sales Incentive Bonus
About the OpportunityWe have partnered with a premier provider of engineered manufacturing solutions to hire a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to take full commercial ownership of a high-performing territory spanning the Northeast US down to Northern Virginia (including PA and WV).
This remote, high-touch sales role is designed for a strategic professional who thrives on direct client engagement and channel management. You will serve as the commercial anchor for your region—delivering value-driven product improvements to existing and new accounts, managing key distributor relationships, and growing into the territory's primary technical resource for rotating equipment and pump applications.
What You’ll Be Doing- Own the Territory: Execute a regional business plan to expand sales volume, preserve healthy margins, and hit annual operating goals across your designated geography.
- Drive Direct & Channel Sales: Secure wins at both the Original Equipment (OE) and Aftermarket (AM) levels by performing targeted sales calls to end-users, OEMs, and distributors.
- Manage Distribution Networks: Select, train, support, and hold regional distributor partners and manufacturer representatives accountable to performance targets.
- Maximize Lifetime Value: Capture high-ticket equipment sales and drive continuous aftermarket revenue by identifying repair, replacement, and system upgrade opportunities.
- Manage Pipeline & Forecasts: Maintain an accurate, up-to-date sales pipeline and deliver weekly short-term forecasts utilizing Salesforce CRM.

Experience:
5+ years of outside sales experience handling engineered industrial equipment—ideally rotating equipment, pumps, or fluid handling systems. - Market Exposure: Proven track record selling directly into chemical, petrochemical, water/wastewater, or general industrial process markets.
- Channel Mastery: Demonstrated success managing, developing, and auditing a distributor or manufacturer’s representative channel network.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong ability to analyze technical specifications and discuss complex pump applications credibly with plant engineers.
- Logistics: Valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 60% across the territory.
