ASAP Duration: on-going (2 weekends per month per your availability)

Shifts:

Intermittent; weekends (7:30am 4pm) and episodic full week coverage;
January 2018 December 2018

On call requirements: possible phone consults

INPATIENT ONLY
100% Adult Patient volume: 14 direct per day, 14 additional supervised visits with APP0-3 Admissions per dayEMR:
Cerner Facility: comprehensive inpatient behavioral health unit treating patients with both medical and psychiatric conditions. Every patient is under the care of an inpatient hospitalist team, the psychiatrist is not responsible for admitting H&P. Specialty consultation is available 7 days per week. 28 Psych beds, 1 seclusion room, PMU for transfer protocol. Responsibilities:
Initial Psychiatric assessments for newly admitted patients, daily rounding on all assigned patients, acute psychiatric unit, involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, restraint application, affective disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, pharmacotherapy-Support staff: nursing staff, social workers, discharge coordinators Call or email for more details Assistance with credentialing provided Travel, Accommodations, Housing, Malpractice- PAID I look forward to speaking with you regarding these, or other opportunities our firm has to offer.
