Position: CGP: Senior Accounting Consultant (Accounting Manager or Controller)
Our client, a leading company in their respective industry, has recently secured several new contracts this year, marking an exciting phase of growth and opportunity. As they transition to a new ERP, they are seeking a highly skilled consultant to join their team and play a critical role in facilitating a smooth and successful system transition. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.

Expected starting base salary $55 to $70 per hour.

Overview of the situation:

• Recently closed several large contracts, resulting in a substantial workload ahead.
• Implementation of a new ERP
• Seeking a highly skilled consultant to assist with the system transition.

Qualifications of the ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 5-6+ years of experience at the Accounting Manager or Controller level.
• Strong analytical skills with a passion for delving into data to identify innovative solutions. The client's processes are complex, requiring a candidate who can think autonomously and outside the box.
• Demonstrated project management experience, particularly in starting projects from scratch.
• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of General Ledger and Sub Ledger processes.

Key Duties for this role will include:

• Mapping the chart of accounts to ensure seamless integration.
• Managing the AP invoice flow to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Performing revenue reconciliation to maintain accuracy and financial integrity.
• Overseeing regular closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
