You Are:

UST is searching for a motivated Junior Finance Executive with 1-2 years of experience to support day-to-day finance operations, reporting, analysis, budgeting, and financial tracking. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of basic finance and accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Experience working in an IT services, System Integration (SI), consulting, or software organization is preferred, as the role will involve supporting finance activities in a project- and client-driven environment.

The opportunity:
  • Support day-to-day finance and accounting activities, including financial tracking, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting and preparation of management reports.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
  • Track project-related financials, including revenue, costs, budgets, margins, and profitability.
  • Assist in monitoring customer billing, invoices, accounts receivable, and outstanding payments.
  • Work with business and project teams to collect and validate financial information.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses for management.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities as required.
  • Identify discrepancies in financial data and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
  • Support process improvements and automation of routine finance activities.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Analysis, or Finance Operations.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting and financial concepts.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of financial data and prepare meaningful reports.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with finance, operations, sales, and delivery teams.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in an IT services, System Integrator (SI), consulting, technology, or software company.
  • Exposure to project financials, revenue forecasting, utilization, margins, or profitability analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP or finance systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to Power BI or other reporting/visualization tools would be an advantage.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

  • $51,500 - $73,000
Benefits
  • Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
