The ideal candidate is strategic, analytical, proactive, and comfortable collaborating across teams to deliver high-performing digital marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive content and SEO strategies aligned with client goals and target audiences to improve search engine rankings and organic visibility.
• Optimize high-quality, keyword-rich content through on-page SEO best practices, including updating headlines, page titles, meta titles, meta descriptions, alt tags, and internal linking structures.
• Conduct ongoing keyword research, analysis, and integration into content strategies.
• Manage and maintain content calendars to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
• Perform website evaluations to identify technical issues, content gaps, and optimization opportunities.
• Set measurable KPIs to demonstrate improvements in marketing performance and ROI.
• Track, analyze, and report on content performance and website metrics to identify trends and optimize strategy.
• Collaborate closely with SEO specialists, content writers, and leadership to ensure optimal content performance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding business goals and providing strategic guidance.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to align priorities and execution.
• Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO/content marketing best practices.
• Document website processes and workflows, contributing to continuous improvement of internal systems and efficiencies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine website structure, functionality, and user experience improvements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years of experience in SEO strategy and content marketing.
• Proven experience developing SEO and content strategies, ideally within the legal industry (preferred but not required).
• Strong understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO fundamentals, and content optimization strategies.
• Experience with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Word Press or other content management systems.
• Demonstrated success with past campaigns, including measurable results.
• Experience using project management software to manage content calendars and workflows.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain a cohesive and engaging web presence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Creative thinker with the ability to proactively recommend strategic improvements.
