We are seeking an experienced Digital Strategist with a proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing and SEO strategies, particularly for law firms. This role is responsible for driving organic growth, improving search visibility, and delivering measurable results aligned with client goals.
The ideal candidate is strategic, analytical, proactive, and comfortable collaborating across teams to deliver high-performing digital marketing initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute comprehensive content and SEO strategies aligned with client goals and target audiences to improve search engine rankings and organic visibility.
Optimize high-quality, keyword-rich content through on-page SEO best practices, including updating headlines, page titles, meta titles, meta descriptions, alt tags, and internal linking structures.
Conduct ongoing keyword research, analysis, and integration into content strategies.
Manage and maintain content calendars to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
Perform website evaluations to identify technical issues, content gaps, and optimization opportunities.
Set measurable KPIs to demonstrate improvements in marketing performance and ROI.
Track, analyze, and report on content performance and website metrics to identify trends and optimize strategy.
Collaborate closely with SEO specialists, content writers, and leadership to ensure optimal content performance.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding business goals and providing strategic guidance.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to align priorities and execution.
Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO/content marketing best practices.
Document website processes and workflows, contributing to continuous improvement of internal systems and efficiencies.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine website structure, functionality, and user experience improvements.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
5+ years of experience in SEO strategy and content marketing.
Proven experience developing SEO and content strategies, ideally within the legal industry (preferred but not required).
Strong understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO fundamentals, and content optimization strategies.
Experience with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with Word Press or other content management systems.
Demonstrated success with past campaigns, including measurable results.
Experience using project management software to manage content calendars and workflows.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain a cohesive and engaging web presence.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Creative thinker with the ability to proactively recommend strategic improvements.
