Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Healthcare domain expertise to lead and deliver complex technology and business transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience managing large-scale healthcare programs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and quality expectations.

This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare systems, payer/provider operations, compliance requirements, and enterprise project delivery methodologies, along with exceptional stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, governance, and closure for healthcare initiatives.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, dependencies, milestones, and resource plans.
  • Manage project delivery to ensure alignment with schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate multiple work streams across development, testing, integration, and deployment phases.
  • Drive execution across Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery models.
Healthcare Domain Leadership
  • Apply strong healthcare knowledge across payer/provider operations and enterprise healthcare systems.
  • Support initiatives involving:
    • Member Enrollment
    • Benefits Administration
    • Claims Processing
    • Billing & Finance
    • Care Management
    • Provider Workflows
  • Ensure project outcomes align with healthcare regulations, data privacy, and compliance standards (HIPAA and related requirements).
  • Translate business requirements into actionable project plans and execution strategies.
Stakeholder & Client Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, leadership teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Facilitate executive reporting, project governance meetings, and status communications.
  • Manage expectations, drive alignment, and resolve project conflicts proactively.
Risk, Issue & Change Management
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues with mitigation plans.
  • Drive change management and scope governance processes.
  • Escalate critical concerns with clear recommendations and resolution strategies.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Business Analysts, Dev Ops, and Testing teams.
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
  • Mentor team members and support high-performance team culture.
Process & Governance
  • Ensure adherence to PMO standards, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes and execution models.
  • Participate in audits, governance reviews, and client reporting forums.
Required Qualifications
  • 10–15 years of overall experience with significant experience managing Healthcare projects/programs
    .
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale healthcare implementations and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong experience managing full SDLC lifecycle for enterprise applications.
Project Management & Technology
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with:
    • Jira
    • MS Project
    • Azure Dev Ops
    • Similar project tracking tools
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure preferred.
  • Experience coordinating with Testing, Automation, and Dev Ops teams.
Leadership & Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and deliver in fast-paced environments.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, CSM, or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Experience working in onsite–offshore delivery models.
  • Prior experience leading healthcare transformation or modernization programs
