AI​/ML Engineer (Candidates in EST​/CST only

The Fountain Group is currently seeking an AI/ML Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This is a 100% Remote Role (Candidates who are located in EST/CST only). Details for the position are as follows:

Pay Rate
- Expected around $50-55/hr on W2 - Can flex upto 60 on W2 for the right candidates/ $60-65 on C2C/1099 - Can flex upto $70/hr on C2C for the right candidate.

Contract Role – Budgeted till the end of the year. (HIGH Possibility for further extension)

• 1.Executes relevant data wrangling activities related to the problem in order to create dataset.
• 2.Conduct ML experiments to understand the feasibility and build baseline models to solve the business problem.
• 3.Fine tune the baseline model for optimum performance.
• 4.Test Models internally per acceptance criteria from business.
• 5.Document relevant Artefacts for communicating with the business.
• 6.Work with data scientists to deploy the models.
• 7.Work with product teams in planning and execution of new product releases.
• 8.Set OKRs and success steps for self/ team and provide feedback to goals for team members.
• 9.Work with cross functional teams - business, technology, and product teams to understand the product vision; building ML solutions that provides value to the product.

• 6+ years of Software Engineering or ML/LLM Engineering experience with at least 3+ years focused on Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions (Open AI preferred).
• Strong hands-on development experience with Python and building production-grade backend services.
• Experience designing and implementing Large Language Model (LLM) applications utilizing platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or Llama. Proven experience building RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) architectures and integrating vector databases
