Position: S-1 General Supervision Aide
- Melvindale High School
- Greet and direct students, parents, and other guests as they enter the building.
- Assist office staff with nonclerical responsibilities including but not limited to answering phone calls and answering door for visitors.
- Receive deliveries from parents (lunches, backpacks, homework, etc.)
- Receive delivery from post office, FedEX, EPS, etc.
- Assist in the supervision of the lunchrooms.
- Assist in supervision of the playground and/or indoor recess.
- Supervise students during drop off and dismissal.
- Cover lunches for office clerical staff.
- Monitor halls, check students for passes in halls during class time.
- Inspect lavatories, report violations of code of conduct to administration.
- Keep order and quiet in the halls while classes are passing.
- Keep students from loitering in hallways and lavatories.
- Other related assignments as requested by the principal or designee.
