At Ford, we are transforming our outbound finished‑vehicle logistics network to provide customers, dealers, and carriers with industry‑leading, real‑time transit visibility. As a member of the North American Vehicle Logistics (NAVL) Business Solutions team, you will be at the forefront of this transformation.

The NAVL Business Solutions Analyst serves as a catalyst for continuous improvement, modernization, and operational excellence across North American Vehicle Logistics. This role partners with business, IT and Vendor Partners to identify process inefficiencies, redesign business workflows, and implement technology‑enabled solutions that improve performance, visibility, and user experience.

The position combines process improvements, project management, change management, and technology development to deliver measurable business value. The successful candidate will lead initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring solutions are adopted and sustained within the organization.

• Work cross‑functionally with the NAVL Operations teams to map logistics processes, identify non‑value‑added steps and design business solutions that eliminate waste and drive improvements
• Define, track, and report on key logistics performance metrics including dwell time, ETA accuracy, mis‑ship rates, carrier performance, and cost savings to ensure solutions are delivering expected benefits

• Conduct root‑cause analysis on ETA calculation failures and transit‑time variance; partner with data scientists and IT teams to translate these operational findings into actions that improve ETA accuracy across the vehicle delivery network
• Define data‑quality metrics and monitor performance (such as milestone transmission rates, GPS pings, and latency) to ensure high‑integrity data
• Apply structured problem‑solving methodologies (such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, or 5‑Why analysis) to address failures and define action plans for improvement

• Translate business challenges into scalable technology‑enabled solutions
• Develop workflow automations, dashboards, and productivity tools to improve business operations
• Evaluate emerging technologies and AI capabilities to create business value and support the long‑term strategy

• Lead change management efforts to address user feedback, deliver training, and drive seamless system and process adoption among internal operational teams, carriers, and third‑party partners

• Develop project plans, milestone tracking, risk mitigation strategies, and executive communications
• Coordinate business, IT, vendor, and operational stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of key initiatives
• Track benefits realization and project outcomes

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics Operations, Data Analytics, or Process Improvement roles
