Per Diem Classroom Aide

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one academic, behavioral, and social support to students as directed by school staff.
• Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, and student transitions throughout the school day.
• Implement behavior plans and follow students IEPs as applicable.
• Provide support with mobility, supervision, and, when needed, personal care.
• Contribute to a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally assist with lifting.
• Completion of a TB test as required by the district.
• Current school compliance clearances or willingness to obtain before starting.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings.
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is beneficial but not required.
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative team player.
