Schedule:
Hybrid (4 days onsite); full-time onsite at plant during launch

We are seeking a results-driven New Model Launch Engineer to support new vehicle and powertrain program launches across North America assembly plants. This role is responsible for end-to-end program management, ensuring the successful delivery of new model programs on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead overall program management for new vehicle launches, including timing, budget control, and status reporting.
- Manage pre-production build events, prototype approvals, and fleet evaluation plans.
- Oversee vehicle ordering, builds, testing, and disposition.
- Serve as a gatekeeper for new model programs and manage cross-functional build issue resolution.
- Co-chair launch meetings and drive part and supplier issues to closure.
- Prepare and present executive-level program assessments and weekly status reports.
- Manage launch budget approvals and track program expenditures.
- Coordinate plant transition activities and support assembly operations during launch.
- Bachelor's degree required;
Engineering degree preferred. - Proven program management experience in manufacturing or automotive environments.
- Experience supporting pre-production builds and plant launch activities.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel extensively (9-12 months at a time) to support plant launches.
