Powertrain Test Engineer

In this role, you will work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment, developing cutting‑edge powertrains that compete on racetracks around the world. You will bridge the gap between simulation and reality, ensuring our engines and drive lines meet the rigorous demands of global motor sport competition.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or an equivalent technical degree.
• 3+ years of professional experience in race or high‑performance powertrain testing, which includes both engine and driveline testing
• Solid understanding of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and driveline components.
• Strong understanding of basic data acquisition principles, sensor types, CAN bus architecture, and general automotive electronics.
• Proficient knowledge of manufacturing processes and the ability to accurately interpret complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with AVL Puma, AVL Concerto, AVL Indicom, or equivalent testing software.
• Must hold or be eligible for a passport. International and domestic travel may be required to support racing activities.

• Experience using Bosch Motorsport, Motec, Cosworth, and McLaren hardware and software.
• Proficiency in C#, Python, MATLAB, VBA, or an equivalent programming language for data analysis and automation.
• Exposure to motor sport or aerospace wiring practices (Mil‑Spec).
• Participation in Formula SAE (FSAE) is very highly preferred.
• Possess a competitive spirit, a "can‑do" attitude, and a genuine personal interest in motorsports.

This position is at salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480 to $121,440.

This position is at salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480 to $141,360.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on the candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility, and competitive market value.
