We are looking for an experienced, talented, and highly motivated Off-Road Lighting SME to join our Connected Vehicle Software department, based in Allen Park, Michigan.

Ford Racing Off-Road Lighting Subject Matter Expert (SME)

What you'll do...

* Act as the primary technical point of contact and SME for all local application development and product architecture

* Define, document, and manage all functional and non-functional requirements (System, Software, and Hardware) in alignment with vehicle specifications and legal regulations (FMVSS, SAE, etc.)

* Lead the development of automotive EE systems, including system-level definition and integration of SW, ME, and EE components for exterior lighting

* Lead FMA core documentation, Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), and Prevent Recurrence Actions (PRAs)

* Manage the product test strategy, including DV/PV for complex mechatronic systems, and oversee Off-Road Exterior Lighting for all Ford Racing products (Competition & Production)

* Drive the technical release of functions and calibration data for production, managing change requests and issues throughout the product development lifecycle

* Coordinate local design support for production launches and lead cross-functional meetings with suppliers, designers, manufacturing, and STA

* Develop commodity technology and sourcing strategies, cost models, and conduct competitive benchmarking to maintain Ford's edge in Off-Road lighting technology

What you'll do...
