Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Perform NVH CAE analysis of next generation Model e products, in one or more of the following areas:
Body, Interiors, Closures, Seats and Frames. Coordinate with D&R engineers to drive design resolutions using linear CAE analysis. Develop component, system, and vehicle-level CAE models, as well as complete analysis following Ford CAE modeling/analysis guidelines. Direct other analysts to create CAE models and run analysis. Conduct DOE studies, while utilizing optimization tools to meet performance requirements within the constraints of conflicting attributes, such as cost and mass.
Develop CAE based countermeasures to meet requirements and work with program members to develop design proposals that meet cost and weight targets. Participate in CAE/design reviews to present and communicate findings with other team members. Maintain records of all CAE models and document as needed.
