Automotive Fuel Economy Engineer – Vehicle Homologation & Compliance
Location:
Onsite 5 Days a Week in Allen Park, MI
Responsibilities including:
- Develop and maintain project work plans including status updates.
- Coordinate with activities regarding prototype vehicle and part requirements and availability.
- Support communication and confirmation of vehicle instrumentation requirements.
- Coordinate with proving ground to execute vehicle mileage break-in.
- Perform fuel economy testing:
- Test request generation
- Data analysis
- Coordinating vehicle updates, reflashes and/or troubleshooting as required.
- Cross-functional meeting support as required.
- Coordinate catalyst bench aging
- Compile and submit test and supporting documentation to EPA as needed or required.
- Support any EPA confirmatory testing.
Requirements:
- BS in Engineering or related field
- Fuel Economy homologation and compliance experience.
