Product Validation Engineer

Lead Design Verification Planning (DVP) and Product Validation (PV) activities for automotive electrical systems, with a primary focus on high-voltage wiring harnesses. Responsible for validation planning, cross-functional coordination, supplier collaboration, testing, quality support, and execution through vehicle launch in accordance with Our Client’s GPDS and program milestones. This is a Validation Leadership role, not a traditional Design & Release engineering position.

On site position, hybrid, 4 days per week in the office.

• Lead Design Verification Plans (DVPs) and Product Validation (PV) activities.
• Develop validation strategies, test plans, and prototype requirements.
• Coordinate validation with engineering, suppliers, manufacturing, and testing teams.
• Track validation progress, engineering changes, and program milestones.
• Support vehicle launches, quality improvements, and warranty investigations.
• Lead Technical Design Reviews (TDRs) and maintain validation documentation.
• Support DFMEA, PPAP, APQP, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Validation leadership role—not a traditional Design & Release position.
• Candidates from other automotive systems may be considered if they have significant DV/PV leadership experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Electrical Engineering, preferred.
• Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering acceptable.
• 5–10 years of automotive engineering experience.
• 5–10 years of wiring harness or automotive electrical systems experience.
• Experience leading Design Verification (DV) and Product Validation (PV).
• Experience creating and managing Design Verification Plans (DVPs).
• Our Client’s GPDS and vehicle launch experience.
• PPAP and automotive product development experience.
• Experience using Team Center and/or CATIA.
• Product Validation (PV).

• Master's Degree in Engineering or related field.
