Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Plan and execute a control feature (injection timing/air/fuel/spark, emissions, OBD) development. Complete feature sign off in line with company procedures. Operate as liaison with lead calibration engineer and technical specialists.
Develop detailed project plans that embrace all elements of the feature development. Execute sub-system optimization in either a vehicle or dynamometer environment. Manage the project to ensure all milestones and objectives are achieved. Manage the definition, communication, and resolution of issues with internal stakeholders. Vehicle homologation development and sign off through use of emissions lab, powertrain cells, and remote sites (Denver, Raco, Eglin, Beckly).
Domestic Travel Required up to 10%.
