Project Manager - Software Deployment

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to manage software deployment projects. The successful candidate will support program and project managers and program analysts to ensure effective delivery of work. The role requires resolving issues, integrating multiple projects, and managing model year plans for major program teams. This position requires minimal supervision and the ability to function effectively in a matrix organization.

• Experience in managing project management software deployment
• Ability to integrate, consolidate, and manage multiple projects
• Authority to provide guidance to supplier staff
• Ability to interface with upper-level management
• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent
• 5 years of experience on automotive programs
• Understanding of GPDS deliverables and basic engineering tools
• Experience launching new vehicles and working with cross-functional teams
• Prior work experience in the automotive industry

• Lead cross-functional coordination of engineering changes
• Track and manage client deliverables through GPDS milestones
• Manage feature-to-part complexity matrices
• Drive on-time release of all electrical parts
• Facilitate and track interface agreements between client and other module owners
• Demonstrate proficiency in WERS and Team Center
• Coordinate and manage electrical design, development, engineering, validation, and certification statuses
• Support supplier sourcing processes and FMA activities
• Review daily change control decks and support weekly change control meetings
• Attend daily meetings and follow-up on open item parts through completion
• Support the progression of quality and FMA deliverables
• Track and lead FEDE requirements and assessments for electrical parts
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with engineering teams, suppliers, and management
• Lead and facilitate interface meetings to support closure of open issues
