Supplier Risk Management & Contingency (FCSD) Coordinator

The Supply Risk Management team is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the company's global supply base to ensure business continuity and supply chain resilience. This role will support the development and execution of risk monitoring strategies that protect supply for Service Parts from distressed suppliers.

In this role, you will lead the contingency actions and project management for the suppliers that are facing a distressed situation, as well as reducing the risk and impact that these financial struggles may have on the Supply Chain for the Service Parts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify the best strategy for the product portfolio and ensure that the company is acting in the best way possible to overcome this as well as identify cost improvements, support supplier management strategies, and ensure compliance with our standards.

• Develop and execute Contingency and Resourcing Plans for the Product Portfolio
• Coordinate cross functional meetings to address key milestones and secure a plan for each part
• Support high management meetings to present FCSD Containment Plan update
• Work together with PS&L to ensure an accurate delivery plan and inventory protection strategy
• Support adherence of supplier quality process requirements
• Lead supplier management and engagement
• Monitor supplier health indicators (financial, operational, geopolitical, natural disaster/weather-related) using risk management platforms and third-party data sources
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and assign risk ratings based on defined criteria

• Work closely with various departments, including marketing and sales organizations, supply chain, engineering, implementation team, & finance to ensure process improvements align with company objectives and business needs.
• Linkage with other functional areas to ensure a solution to the Distressed Situations are launched in timely manner
• Support Data tooling development to improve decision making with the usage of AI and automated process

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field of study
• 3+ years Purchasing or related experience.
• Artificial Intelligence Basic Knowledge
• Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required for supplier site visit

• Established and successful track record of managing complex programs
• Excellent project management skills to deliver to most effective plan for Ford
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• Great critical thinking skills so you are capable to analyze where you're at and what needs to be done
• High stress fast paced environment, multitasking
• 5+ years Purchasing or related experience.
• Previous Ford Experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic Automotive engineering knowledge
• Automotive background
• Presentation skills (being able to present complex information in a clear, simplified way)
• Proficiency in the usage of Artificial Intelligence

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $74,300-$124,500

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200
