Inventory​/Teardown Tech

Talascend is currently seeking an Inventory/Teardown Techfor a contract opportunity with our client in Allen Park, Michigan.

Overview

The role involves loading and unloading materials, inspecting parts for quality and accuracy, and maintaining a clean work area. The candidate must be motivated and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Identify, inspect, and track incoming and outgoing parts for quality, quantity, and accuracy.
• Load materials and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Clean, organize, remove packing dunnage, and keep work area clean.
• Set up parts for engineering review on tables by commodity/system, put away parts review are completed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of automotive experience, specifically disassembly/tear down
• Minimum 1 - 2 years inventory experience

Requirements

• Must have strong computer experience and tech savvy
• Must have own tools with rolling toolbox.
• Must have good organizational skills
• Must have good attention to detail
• Effective verbal communication skills, will be working with customers.
• Must possess the skills to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures
• Must have reliable attendance
• Valid drivers license
