Software Tester – Allen Park, MI
We are seeking a candidate to develop and execute functional and integration test plans for all components owned by the Software Platform group. The role involves automated testing and provides an opportunity to deliver cutting‑edge software and services with an industry leader.
Responsibilities- Analyze product requirements.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with teams to design test plans and setups for software solutions spanning multiple domains.
- Develop test automation scripts.
- Analyze test failures and determine root causes.
- Analyze test coverage.
- Experience with embedded systems, test automation, and Python.
- Proficiency with Slash, Testrail, Jenkins, JIRA, and test automation frameworks using Python.
- 3–5 years of software testing experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms.
- Test automation experience in Python.
- Experience testing embedded operating systems using Python/Slash (ECU model).
- Experience testing automotive software.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and JIRA.
- Methodical, capable of prioritizing work and meeting tight deadlines.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
