Software Tester (Allen Park, MI)

We are seeking a candidate to develop and execute functional and integration test plans for all components owned by the Software Platform group, including automated test development.

Responsibilities

Analyzing product requirements
Cross‑functional collaboration with teams to design test plans and test set‑ups for software solutions that span multiple domains
Test automation development
Test failure analysis
Test coverage analysis

Skills Required

Embedded test automation skills (Python, Slash, Testrail, Jenkins, Jira)
Test Automation Framework using Python

Experience Required

3–5 years of software testing experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms
Test automation experience in Python
Experience testing embedded operating systems using Python/Slash (ECU model)
Experience testing for automotive
Familiarity with Agile processes and JIRA
Methodical, capable of prioritizing work and meeting tight deadlines

Education Required

A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
