Description
We are currently looking for a Billing Specialist to join our team. The Billing Specialist will be primarily responsible for reviewing work orders, generating invoices, and communicating by phone and email with customers concerning those invoices. This role focuses on fostering long-term relationships with our customers.
Job Responsibilities- Prepare and process accurate invoices for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and BAS services
- Review and verify technician work orders for completeness and accuracy
- Handle quoted, time & materials (T&M), and contract billing models
- Resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and customer inquiries
- Communicate with customers, field techs, and management about billing issues

Requirements
Required Education- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two years of billing or accounts receivable required, preferably with industry experience
- PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivation, requiring minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and customer service skills - role requires the ability to comfortably communicate with all levels of employees and account contacts
