Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of their finance team in Allen, Texas.
This junior-level role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.
Located Onsite in Allen, Texas
Key Responsibilities- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with audits and internal reviews as needed
- Help prepare basic financial reports and schedules
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-3 years of full cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships welcome)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and grow within the accounting function
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
